I saw this on google reader as a set of smaller images and thought that the bird, having blown off the roof, had become wedged face-down in a knot hole in the deck and just its tail and wings were sticking out.
I would be disappointed but the textures and tones of this make me too happy. Mmm. Textures and tones.
no, it's just sitting there. but the best part? it's STILL sitting there. yeah, the dog never moved it, and neither did I. the wind does a little, but meryl won't, so maybe we'll take another photo of it in a couple weeks in the snow. then they'll be even MORE textures!
